About Our History
Where the story began
Simple and tasteful. Gabriele, the chef, brought together flavors and specialties from Rome to Turin, where first he opened his own guesthouse where he proposed his Roman cuisine among all the other courses he offered to his guests.
The Guesthouse in Sardinia
In 2020 Gabriele moved from Turin to Sardinia, Terralba, a little town close to Oristano, to open a new guesthouse with Rossella, his wife. In 2022, after the covid period, finally they opened the activity bringing his cuisine to all their guests in Sardinia. All of them really loved dinners made at Domo Achenza in Terralba, so the idea to open a Roman restaurant born.
Osteria Qui Se Magna
In 2025, finally the project has become reality and the tavern has opened in the center of Oristano to let the whole city taste the chef's Roman dishes and the wonderful service Rossella offers.
A Beautiful Dive Into Roman Tastes
Established in 2025 in the center of Oristano, a stone’s throw from the main square, and in one of the busiest streets of the city, the name “Qui Se Magna” represents Romanity and the Roman cuisine that is offered inside the restaurant.
Inspired by the Roman origins and traditions of the chef, the “Osteria Qui Se Magna” offers exclusively typical Roman dishes learned years ago from the grandmother of Garbatella and from her friends of Testaccio, as well as from his own mother.
It is located in an intimate and welcoming place, made of red bricks and vaults, strongly desired by the owner to reflect the taverns of the past and those typical environments that are only found in the center of Rome.
The menu is varied and certainly meets everyone’s needs, it offers appetizers, classic Roman pastas, various second courses, side dishes and homemade desserts, one of the strong points of the tavern.
